Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & payment

  • A booking is confirmed once payment (deposit or full amount) is received.

  • We recommend:

    • 50% deposit is required to secure the booking

    • The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival

    • Should a booking be within the 30-day period, then full payment is due on confirmation.

For peak season (Dec–Jan in South Africa), we can require full payment upfront.

2. Cancellation Policy 

  • Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival

  • 50% refund between 30-21 days before arrival

  • No refund within 20 days of arrival

3. Security deposit

A guest waiver of liability will be signed upon arrival and a refundable security deposit of  ZAR 5,000 cash, will be required. After inspection, this waiver will be returned within 7 days after check-out.

4. Check-in & check-out

  • Check-in: from 15:00

  • Check-out: before 10:00

  • Early/late subject to availability

5. Maximum occupancy

Maximum number of guests is 6. 7 is allowed if there is a kid under the age of 4.

No parties or events without written approval. 

6. Damage & liability

Guests are responsible for: 

  • Damage beyond normal wear

  • Missing items

  • Rule violations

7. Force majeure

Solyn Villa cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, etc.).

8. Family Policy

Family Policy

  • Children aged 0–3 stay free of charge.

  • Baby cot and high chair available at R500 per night.

9. Booking information

  • This is a strictly non-smoking villa. Smoking is allowed on the driveway, not inside, the balcony or garden, and (e)cigarettes need to be properly thrown away. 

  • Pets allowed on a case-by-case basis. Please enquire max 2 weeks before arrival. 

  • Rates are based on exclusive use of the villa for up to six guests.

  • Rates are subject to availability and may change due to demand, seasonal adjustments or special events prior to confirmation.
