Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & payment

  • A booking is confirmed once payment (deposit or full amount) is received.

  • We recommend:

    • 50% deposit upon booking

    • 50% balance due 30 days before arrival

For peak season (Dec–Jan in South Africa), you can require full payment upfront.

2. Cancellation Policy 

  • Free cancellation up to 90 days before arrival

  • 50% refund between 90–60 days before arrival

  • No refund within 60 days of arrival

3. Security deposit

A guest waiver of liability will be signed upon arrival and a refundable security deposit of  ZAR 8,000 cash or card, will be required. After inspection, this waiver will be returned within 7 days after check-out.

4. Check-in & check-out

  • Check-in: from 15:00

  • Check-out: before 10:00

  • Early/late subject to availability

5. Maximum occupancy

Maximum number of guests is 6. 7 is allowed if there is a kid under the age of 4.

No parties or events without written approval. 

6. Damage & liability

Guests are responsible for: 

  • Damage beyond normal wear

  • Missing items

  • Rule violations

7. Force majeure

Solyn Villa cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, etc.).
