The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 runs from 4 October to 21 November across South Africa — the tournament's first return to Africa since 2003.
South Africa's seven venues carry the bulk of the fifty-four-match tournament, with Zimbabwe and Namibia hosting the remainder. The full match-by-match fixture list is still being finalised by the ICC on a rolling basis, but the shape of the tournament, and its bookend fixtures, are already set.
Because every host city sits within about two and a half hours' flying time of George Airport, the Garden Route is a natural place for a touring group to land between fixtures — a change of pace rather than another city stopover added to an already busy World Cup 2027 schedule.
